Presentation of Paraguayan Gastronomy Book in Tokyo
At the Paraguayan restaurant Amigo in Tokyo, Ms. Miryam Megumi Kumagai presented her book “Paraguay – Flavors of Memories, Aromas that Touch the Heart.” The event brought together distinguished guests, including H.E. Mario Toyotoshi, Ambassador of the Republic of Paraguay, who underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in promoting Paraguayan cuisine in Japan.
The publication showcases traditional Paraguayan recipes and reflects a deep cultural connection between Paraguay and Japan, contributing to a greater understanding and appreciation of Paraguayan gastronomy among Japanese audiences.
In representation of JAPOLAC, Mr. Fredy Armijos, Director responsible for business development, attended the event and conveyed JAPOLAC’s appreciation for initiatives that promote the cultural and gastronomic richness of Latin America and the Caribbean in Japan.
The presentation of this book represents an important contribution to the promotion of Paraguayan culture abroad, while also creating opportunities to further strengthen cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Paraguay and Japan.
