JAPOLAC Participates in the 16th Anniversary Reception of GR Japan
Dr. Ritter Díaz, Representative Director of the Japan Association for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (JAPOLAC), together with Mr. Ajoy Sinha Roy, Senior Director of the Association, participated in the reception commemorating the 16th Anniversary of GR Japan, held at Toranomon Hills.
The event brought together members of the Japanese parliament, policymakers, executives from leading Japanese and international companies, and representatives of the public policy community, providing an excellent opportunity to strengthen professional networks and exchange views on Japan’s evolving political and economic landscape.
Founded in 2010, GR Japan is one of Japan’s leading government relations and public affairs consulting firms. The company advises multinational corporations, industry associations, and international organizations on Japan’s political, legislative, and regulatory environment, helping them engage effectively with government institutions and key stakeholders.
During the reception, Dr. Díaz conveyed his sincere congratulations to Jacob Edberg, Chief Executive Officer of GR Japan, on the company’s sixteenth anniversary and its continued contribution to strengthening dialogue between the public and private sectors in Japan.
Dr. Díaz and Mr. Edberg share a longstanding personal relatioship dating back to their graduate studies at the University of Tsukuba.
On the occasion, Dr. Díaz also exchanged views with members of parliament, business executives, and representatives from various organizations on current political, economic, and international developments affecting Japan and the broader international community.
